Wow, I haven't been on the blog in a while! So much has happened since this summer. First off, we lost my father in law, Marty. It is such a terrible loss. He was wonderful, amazing human being. Generous & FUN. We were luck enough to be able to spend so much time with him these past 4 years or so, snow birding to Arizona where he lived during the winter. It was because of him that we made the change to snow bird, too. He influenced our lives in so many good ways. He always made me feel at home when I was around him. He was ALWAYS in good mood. We miss him so very much and think about him daily. I did also have a dream about him shortly after he died. I remember I was starting to play a song, Journey - Faithfully, that I put on his slide show/video for his funeral, on the piano. I remember looking up and saw him standing there smiling. He had clean cut mullet, jeans, T-shirt and nice jacket on. He stood there for a minute or two while I played the song on the piano along with the song going in the dream, then disappeared. I began so cry very hard in my dream and then woke up. It was so painful to see him then wake up and not be able, but I am thankful God allowed me to see once last time, even if it was in my dreams.
